Saint Hildegund, also known as Hilda, Hildegundis, and Ildegonda, was born to the noble German family of Count Herman of Lidtberg in the 12th century. Little is known about her early life, but it is believed that she grew up in a devout Catholic household and received a good education. At some point, Hildegund married Count Lothair, and together they had three children....
