Saint Iosephus Wang Kuiju, also known as Joseph Wang Guiji or Ruose, was born around 1863 in Nangong, Jizhou, Hebei, China. He lived during a time of intense persecution of Catholics in China, specifically during the Boxer Rebellion in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Joseph Wang Guiji was a devout Catholic layman who resided in the apostolic vicariate of Southeastern Zhili, China....
