Saint John Leonardi, also known as Giovanni Leonardi or Jean Leonardi, was born in 1541 in Diecimo, Lucca, Italy. He grew up during a time of great religious and political unrest in Europe due to the Reformation. Despite the challenging times, John demonstrated a strong devotion to his faith from an early age. While studying for the priesthood, John worked as a pharmacist's apprentice....
