Saint John Nepomucene, also known as Jan Nepomucký and John Nepomucen, was born around 1340 in Nepomuk, Bohemia (in modern-day Czech Republic) as John Wolflin. As a child, he experienced a miraculous cure through the prayers of his parents, who subsequently consecrated him to God. This early devotion set the stage for his later life of piety and service....
