Saint Ladislas, also known as Ladislao, Ladislaus, Lalo, Lancelot, or Laszlo, was born in 1040 in Hungary as the son of Bela I, the King of Hungary. From an early age, Ladislas was destined for greatness, both as a prince and as a future leader of his people. In 1077, Ladislas ascended to the throne and became the King of Hungary....
