Saint Liadán of Killyon, also known as Liadain, Líadáin, Liadhain, Lídain, and Wingela, was a prominent figure in the early Catholic Church in Ireland. Born in the latter 5th century in Ireland, she was the daughter of a pagan chieftain. Legend has it that Saint Liadán conceived her son, Saint Kieran, in a remarkable manner....
