Saint Margaret of Scotland, also known as Margaret of Wessex, was born around 1045 in Hungary. She was the granddaughter of King Edmund Ironside of England and the great-niece of Saint Stephen of Hungary. Margaret's family had been forced into exile in Hungary due to the Danish invasion of England, but she spent a significant part of her youth in the British Isles....
