Saint Maria Yi Indok, also known as Maria Yi In-Deok, was a young lay woman who lived in the apostolic vicariate of Korea during the 19th century. She was born in 1819 in Seoul, South Korea, in a period of intense persecution against Catholics. Maria Yi Indok was deeply devoted to her faith from an early age and actively participated in the Catholic community despite the risks involved....
