Saint Mariano of Acerenza, also known as Saint Mariano of Ripacandida, was a courageous deacon and preacher during a time of great persecution against Christians. Born in the 3rd century in either Acerenza or Ripacandida, Italy, little is known about his early life. However, his unwavering faith and commitment to spreading the Gospel eventually led him to a life of martyrdom....
