Saint Mariemadeleine Postel, also known as Julie Postel, Marie Madeline Postel, and Mary Magdalen Postel, was born on 28 November 1756 in Barfleur, Normandy, France. She grew up amidst a challenging time during the French Revolution. Saint Mariemadeleine was the aunt of Blessed Placide Viel, and she received her education from the Benedictines at Valognes....
