Saint Maximus of Aquila, also known as Maximus of Aveia or Massimo, was born around the year 228 in Aveia, Italy. He was raised in a devoutly Catholic family and grew up with a deep love for his faith. Maximus felt a strong calling to serve the Church and became an enthusiastic deacon in Aveia. As he grew older, Maximus aspired to the priesthood and dedicated himself to studying and practicing his faith....
