Saint Maximus of Caesarea, also known as Maximus the Itinerant, was a rural bishop and martyr who lived during the 3rd century. Born in Cappadocia, in modern-day Turkey, Maximus dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of Christianity amidst persecutions and challenges of the time.
