Saint Mildgytha, also known as Mildgita, Mildgith, Mildgyð, Mildgyth, Milgitha, or Milgithe, was born into royalty as a princess. She was the daughter of Merewalh, the King of Mercia, and Saint Ebbe in Thanet. Mildgytha was fortunate to have had two sisters who would also become saints, namely Saint Milburga and Saint Mildred of Thanet....
