Saint Mitrius, also known as Matrius, Merre, Metre, Mitre, Mitrio, and Mitria, was a Christian martyr who lived during the 4th century. Born in Greece, little is known about his early life and background. It is believed that he was enslaved and eventually found himself in the city of Aix-en-Provence, France.
