Saint Numerian of Treves, also known as Memorian or Memoriae, was a prominent Catholic saint and bishop of Trier. Born in Treves (modern-day Trier, Germany), Numerian was the son of a wealthy senator, providing him with a privileged upbringing. At an early age, Numerian felt a calling to the religious life and entered the Benedictine Order, becoming a monk at Remiremont Abbey....
