Saint Olaus of Sweden, also known as Olaf or Olave, was a significant figure in the history of Catholicism in Scandinavia. He was born in the early 10th century in Birca, Sweden, which is close to modern-day Stockholm. Not much is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was of noble birth and possibly descended from the legendary Swedish king Erik Anundsson....
