Saint Pedro de San Jose Betancur, also known as Pedro Betancur, Peter Betancur, Peter of Saint Joseph Betancur, and Saint Francis of the Americas, was born on May 16, 1619, in Villaflores, Tenerife Island, Canary Islands, Spain.
