Saint Peter of Tarentaise, also known as Pierre de Tarentaise, was born in 1102 in Saint-Maurice-l’Exil, France. At the age of 20, he entered the Benedictine Cistercians at Bonneveaux, France, following in the footsteps of his father and two brothers. With a deep desire for a life of devotion and service, Peter embraced the monastic life wholeheartedly....
