Saint Peter Orseolo, also known as Peter Urseolus, was born in 928 in Rivo alto, Province of Udine, Venice, Italy, into a wealthy, noble, and prominent family. At the age of 18, he married Felicitas, and they had a son named Peter, who eventually became the Doge of Venice in 991. Even from a young age, Peter showed remarkable abilities as a leader....
