Saint Peter Verona, also known as Peter Martyr or Peter of Verona, was born in 1205 in Verona, Italy. He was the son of Catharist heretics, but he received a Catholic education in a Catholic school and later attended the University of Bologna. At a young age, Peter Verona embraced orthodox Catholicism when he heard the preaching of Saint Dominic....
