Saint Petrus Liu Zeyu, also known as Peter Liu Ziyu or Baiduo, was a layman in the apostolic vicariate of Southeastern Zhili, China. He was born around 1843 in Zhujiaxie, Shenzhou, Hebei, China. Although not much is known about his early life, it is clear that he was a devout Catholic who held fast to his faith in the face of immense persecution....
