Saint Pierrefrançois Néron was born on 21 September 1818, in Bornay, Jura, in the diocese of St-Claude, France. He was the fifth of nine children in his family. From a young age, it was evident that he had a fervent spirit and a strong desire to serve God. Pierrefrançois Néron's religious journey began when he entered seminaries in Nozeroy and Vaux-sur-Poligny, France, where he received his education and formation....
