Saint Porfirio, also known as Porfyrius, Porphyry, or Porphyrius, was an Imperial executioner during the reign of Emperor Septimius Severus. Although initially tasked with persecuting and murdering Christians, Porfirio's encounters with the courageous faith of those he executed had a profound impact on him. In time, he began to question his own beliefs and started examining the Christian faith more closely....
