Saint Radbod of Utrecht, also known as Radbodus, Radboud, Ratbod, and Redbad, was born around the year 850 in the Gascony Lomagne region of France. He was the grandson of the last pagan king of the Frisons of the Netherlands. Following the death of his parents, Radbod was raised by his uncle Gunther, who was the bishop of Cologne, Germany....
