Saint Sabas The Goth of Rome, also known as Sabas Stratelates, was a military officer of Gothic descent who became a martyr in the persecutions of Aurelian. Sabas, along with 70 unnamed companions, was brutally tortured and murdered for the crime of visiting Christians in prison. This pious and courageous individual met his untimely death as a result of his unwavering faith and dedication to his fellow Christians....
