Saint Servandus of Cadiz, also known as Servando, was a Roman soldier who lived during the time of the persecutions of Christians under the emperor Diocletian. He was born in Merida, Spain. Servandus was the son of Saint Marcellus of Léon and the brother of Saint Germanus of Cadiz. He grew up in a devout Christian family that instilled in him a strong faith and a love for the Church....
