Saint Simon Phan Ðac Hòa was a devoted Catholic who lived in the tumultuous period of the early 19th century in Vietnam. Born around 1787 in Mai Vinh, Thua Thiên, Vietnam, he was a remarkable man who led a fulfilling and inspiring life.
