Saint Stanislaus of Cracow, also known as Stanislaus Szczepanowsky, was born on July 26, 1030, in the diocese of Cracow, Poland. He came from a noble Polish family, being the son of Belislaus and Bogna, and was raised in a devoutly religious household. Stanislaus received his early education in Gnesen, Poland, and it is believed that he may have also studied in Paris, France, during his youth....
