Saint Stephen of Muret, also known as Stephen of Grandmont or Stephen of Thiers, was born around the year 1046 in Thiers, Auvergne, France. At the age of twelve, he left his home to pursue an education at Benevento, Italy, under the guidance of Archbishop Blessed Milo of Benevento. It was during this time that Stephen's spiritual journey began to take shape....
