Saint Stephen The Martyr, also known as Stephen the Deacon, was the first Christian martyr and a prominent figure in the early Christian Church. While preaching the Gospel in the streets, he encountered opposition from angry Jews who considered his message to be blasphemous. This led to his tragic and untimely death by stoning outside the city....
