Saint Sylvester of Réome, also known as Sevetre or Silvestro, was a revered monk and the second abbot of Réome Abbey, which is now known as Moutiers-Saint-Jean Abbey, located near Dijon, France. He was personally chosen by the founder of the monastery, Saint Jean of Réome, and faithfully served in this position from the year 525 until his death eleven years later....
