Saint Syra of Troyes, also known as Syria of Troyes, was a 7th-century Catholic saint and the sister of Saint Fiacre. Born in Ireland, she led a life deeply rooted in piety and devotion to God. When her brother Fiacre fled Ireland in search of solitude, Syra felt a strong calling to follow him and share in his pursuit of a contemplative life....
