Saint Tathai, also known as Athaeus, Athan, Atheus, Tathal, Tathan, and Tathar, was a revered Catholic saint and hermit who lived in the 5th and 6th centuries. He was born in Ireland during the 5th century and was the nephew of Saint Samson of Dol, a prominent bishop and missionary.
