Saint Theophilus The Penitent, also known as Saint Theophilus of Adana, was an archdeacon and treasurer of the church in Adana, Cilicia (in modern-day Turkey) during the 6th century. While he is primarily known for his involvement in a pact with a demon, his life and spiritual journey encompass much more.
