Saint Theotonius of Coimbra, also known as Teotonio, was born in 1086 in Gonfeo, Spain. He was the nephew of the bishop of Coimbra, Portugal, and received a thorough education at the prestigious University of Coimbra. Upon completing his studies, he embarked on his ecclesiastical career. Teotonio was appointed as a parish priest and was assigned to Viseu, Portugal....
