Saint Thorfinn (c. 1220–1285), Bishop of Nidaros, lived a life marked by quiet fidelity amidst ecclesiastical strife. Born in Norway, he entered the Cistercian Order at Tautra Abbey, later serving as a canon of the Cathedral of Nidaros (modern Trondheim) by 1277, where he witnessed the pivotal Agreement of Tönsberg.
