Saint Tigernach of Clogher, also known as Tigernake, Tierney, Tierry, or Terry, was born in Ireland in the 5th century. He was the son of Dearfraych, the daughter of the Irish king Eochod, and a renowned general named Corbre. Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was baptized by Bishop Saint Conleth of Kildare....
