Saint Tortgith of Barking, also known as Theoregitha, Theorogitha, Thordgith, Thorgyth, and Torctgyd, was a Benedictine nun at the Abbey of Barking, England. She was born around the year 700 and died, also around the same period. Although there is a scarcity of details about her life, her contributions to the abbey and her spiritual legacy are worth recounting....
