Saint Ubaldus Baldassini, also known as Ubaldus of Gubbio or Ubaldo, was born around the year 1085 in Gubbio, near Ancona, Umbria, Italy. He came from a noble family and was related to Saint Sperandea. Sadly, Ubaldo's father, Rovaldo Baldassini, passed away when he was very young, leaving him in the care of his invalid mother, who suffered from a neurological disease....
