Saint Veranus of Cavaillon, also known as Véran or Verano, was born at Vaucluse and served as bishop of Cavaillon. He lived during the early 6th century and is celebrated on December 3rd. Gregory of Tours wrote about his miracles, including the expulsion of a dragon, and noted his role in charitable works and support for local monasteries both in France and Italy....
