The Via Latina was more than a thoroughfare of the ancient world; it was a path of testimony where the footsteps of the faithful echoed against the hills of Rome. Here, beneath the surface of the earth, the early Church found its resting place, a subterranean city built of faith and silence. Among those who chose to be buried in the Cemetery of Apronian on this sacred road lies the memory of a woman known only as Eugenia.
