Biography

Saint Marie Leonie Paradis, also known as Alodie-Virginie Paradis, was born on May 12, 1840, in L’Acadie, Quebec, Canada. She was born into a poor but deeply religious family. As a young girl, she received her education from the Sisters of Notre Dame.
