Biography

Saint Amabilis of Auvergne, a revered figure in the Church of France, served faithfully within the ecclesiastical heartland of Auvergne. Born in the region, his life was dedicated to sacred service, beginning as cantor in the church of Saint Mary at Clermont. His musical and liturgical gifts led to his appointment as precentor of the Cathedral of Clermont
