Biography

Saint Emerius of Bañoles, also known as Saint Éméry, was a revered Catholic saint and a Benedictine monk in the 8th century. Born in France, little information is available about his early life. However, according to historical documents, Saint Emerius was the son of Saint Candida of Bañoles, a devout woman who lived in a hermitage near the Saint Stephen of Bañoles Abbey located in Catalonia, Spain.
