Saint Felicita of Capua, also known as Felicity, was a visionary and martyr who lived during the third century in Capua, Campania, Italy. Little is known about her early life, but her faith and dedication to the Christian community would later propel her to great heights of spiritual strength and devotion. During the reign of Emperor Decius, when Christians faced intense persecution, Saint Felicita fearlessly proclaimed her faith despite knowing the risks involved. She became a prominent figure in the Christian community, offering guidance and support to fellow believers during a time of great uncertainty. Martyrdom eventually befell Saint Felicita when she refused to renounce her Christian beliefs. She endured various forms of torture and persecution, all of which she steadfastly resisted, preferring to remain true to her faith.
It is believed that she faced imprisonment, beatings, and even attempts to force her to participate in pagan rituals. However, Saint Felicita remained resolute, steadfast in her commitment to Christ.
