Biography

Saint Fulk of Piacenza, a distinguished servant of the Church, is venerated for his faithful episcopal ministry in northern Italy. Born in an unknown year and place, his early life and education are recorded through his studies in Paris, France, where he prepared for sacred service. Returning to Italy, he was appointed Archpriest of Piacenza, demonstrating his dedication to the local Church. His pastoral care and leadership earned him the trust of the Holy See, leading to his appointment as Bishop of Piacenza. In the year 1216, Pope Honorius
