Biography
The path to eternal glory for Giacinto Ansalone wound through three continents before ending in the fires of persecution. A Dominican priest whose life was a testament to the global reach of the Gospel, he offered his blood in Japan for the faith he had carried from Italy. His story begins in the sun-drenched hills of San Stefano Quisquina, where he entered the world on the first of November in 1598. Yet, his true vocation ignited within the cloisters of the Order of Preachers, where he dedicated himself to the rigorous pursuit of truth.
