Saint Hélier of Jersey, also known as Elerio, Elier, Helerous, Hielier, Helerius, or Hélyi, was a significant figure in the early Christian history of the Channel Islands. Born in Tongres, Belgium, during the sixth century, Hélier chose a life of devotion and embarked on a journey that would lead to his eventual martyrdom....
