Saint Leontinus of Braga, also known as Leontius, was an early bishop and martyr in the city of Braga, Portugal. Little is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was born in the 4th century. Leontinus was known for his unwavering commitment to his faith and his dedication to the Catholic Church. He was ordained as a bishop and served the Christian community in Braga during a time when the Church faced persecution and was struggling to establish itself in the region. Leontinus played a crucial role in spreading the teachings of Christianity in Braga and beyond. He was known for his eloquence and charisma, which resonated with many people and helped attract them to the faith.
Despite the risks involved, Leontinus fearlessly preached the Gospel, leading numerous individuals to convert to Christianity. Leontinus was a strong advocate for social justice and actively worked
