Biography

Saint Opilio of Piacenza, also known as Opilio of Ravenna, was born in Piacenza, Italy, during the mid-5th century. He is believed to have been the brother of Saint Gelasius. From a young age, Opilio displayed a remarkable sense of generosity and compassion, sharing his daily meals with the poor and needy in his community.
